| Purpose:To evaluate the clinical effects of Bloodletting with cupping therapy for post herpetic neuralgia comprehensively and objectively, by observing the patient’s outcomes of pain, mental, emotion and sleep after treating postherpetic neuralgia by bloodletting with cupping therapy.Material and method:Divide the62patients who met the inclusion criteria of postherpetic neuralgia patients into a treatment group and a control group randomly, each group included31cases. Use bloodletting with cupping therapy on the treatment group, and use traditional acupuncture therapy on the contral group. Observe clinical effect in2courses, analysis the data results such as the pain relief time, scores of short-form of McGill pain questionnaire, sleep quality score results, score results of Self-Rating Depression Scale before treatment and after treatment, Comprehensive to evaluate the clinical effects of Bloodletting with cupping therapy for post herpetic neuralgia comprehensively and in multiple perspectives.Results:1. Pain relief time. The treatment group’s pain relief time is earlier than the control group’s, statistically significant (P<0.01).2. Scores of short-form of McGill pain questionnaire. Treatment group before and after treatment, statistical significant (P<0.01). Controlled group before and after treatment, statistical significant (P<0.01). after treatment treatment group and controlled group, statistical significant (P<0.01).3. Sleep quality score. Treatment group before and after treatment, statistical significant (P<0.01). Controlled group before and after treatment, statistical significant (P<0.01).after treatment treatment group and controlled group, statistical significant (P<0.01). 4. The Self-Rating Depression Scale score. Treatment group before and after treatment, statistical significant (P<0.01). Controlled group before and after treatment, statistical significant (P<0.01). after treatment treatment group and controlled group, statistical significant (P<0.01).5. The comprehensive clinical effect comparison. A total of62patients with two groups, the treatment group, a total of31patients with heritage neuralgia after herpes zoster, cure of17cases,8cases were markedly effective,6cases effective,0no effect, the markedly effective rate was80.64%; Traces of the control group after31cases of postherpetic neuralgia patients, heal in5cases,8cases were markedly effective, effective15cases,3had no effect, the markedly effective rate was41.94%. Statistical processing show that the markedly effective rate between the two groups have significant difference, P<0.01. Conclusion:1Bloodletting cupping therapy have better clinical outcomes on pain of postherpetic neuralgia.2Bloodletting with cupping therapy can effectively reduce negative emotions of postherpetic neuralgia patients.3Bloodletting with cupping therapy improve sleep quality of postherpetic neuralgia.4Bloodletting with cupping therapy has good comprehensive clinical effects of postherpetic neuralgia.5Bloodletting with cupping therapy is worth to applicate and study widely. |
