Clinical Study On Treatment Of Optic Nerve Atrophy With "Gangan Deficiency" By

Purpose：Through the observation of the Mingmu Dihuang plus minus decoctionto treat the patients with optic atrophy which were the type of liver and kidneydeficiency， and accumulation of some clinical evidence for Traditional ChineseMedicine therapy research the optic atrophy which were the type of liver andkidney deficiency， that demonstrate the advantages of Chinese medicine for itstreatment.Material and method：Choose from the January1，2012to march31，2014to the eye specialist of our Hospital which met the inclusion the optic atrophywhich were the type of liver and kidney deficiency in40patients<60eyes>. Theyare randomly divided into control and treatment groups. The control group forthe routine treatment (e.g.， DC iontophoresis of Chinese medicine， acupunctureand eating medicine.).The treatment group receive the Mingmu Dihuang plus minusdecoction combined the routine treatment，the observation time is one month.Compared the changes in the vision and the visual field.And analysis of therelationship between the duration and efficiencyResults：1. There are no significant statistical differences about the age、the basicvision、the course of the disease and etiology, so the test group and the controlgroup are comparable.（P＞0.05）2. Contrast improvements about eyesight and horizons between treatment groupand controlgroup,the difference is statistically significant(P<0.01)3. There were obviously effective rate of86.21％in the treatment group and67.74％(p<0.05)in the control group about the roup.4. With the extension of the course, the effective rate of the two groups are on the decline.5. In this study two cases of patients with retinitis pigmentosa basically stablecondition after treatment.Conclusion：1. It was more efficacy to apply the Mingmu Dihuang plus minus decoction combinedDC iontophoresis of Chinese medicine， acupuncture and eating medicine thanwithout Mingmu Dihuang plus minus decoction to treat the patients with opticatrophy which were the type of liver and kidney deficiency to improve eyesightand expand horizons.2. There is negative correlation about curative effect and course.The shorterduration, the better the therapeutic effect.
