Minors medical security is an important part of the medical security system inChina. With the continuous development of society and there being only one child inmost Chinese families, the health care of minors has become the problem whichaffect the existence and development of minors rights, family life as well as socialstability. But our country minors medical security system appears as a complement ofmedical security system in many cases. As minors wish to represent the future of thecountry, this situation is obviously not conducive to the countrys future development.This paper aims at using model study of juvenile medical security system in China, soas to put forward a more efficient way of improvement.This article first analyzes of minors qualitative health care system: reviewing thehistory of minor medical security system; comparing foreign health insurance systemof minors; finding the current Medicare of minors system deficiencies and problems.Secondly, I conducted qualitative analysis about medical security system withdemand and supply model. Then I combined more detailed data and information forthe analysis foundation. This paper choose the extended linear expenditure systemas the basic model, doing the seven income levels of urban residents and five incomelevel of rural residents of consumer spending by regression calculation. Throughquantitative calculation of minors medical consumption each index, I analyzed whatkind of people demand for minor security system is the most urgent and found whichrestrict the development of the minors in our country medical security system, inorder to improve minors security system in our country.The innovation point of this essay is talking the demand of minor medicalsecurity system in our country at present by qualitative research. Both in theoreticalresearch or in terms of institution building about minors medical security system, thecountrys political and academic circles have carried out active exploration, got a lotof practical policy recommendations. But from now, most studies only did qualitativeanalysis of the existing conditions, the quantitative research is little. This paper chosethe extended linear expenditure system as the basic model, using quantitative calculation measure of minors medical consumption of each index. After these, I putforward the medical demands of statistical equation based on and used thecrosssection data to estimate the basic demand of urban and rural health of minors,medical marginal propensity to consume, and demand income-elasticity of homehealth care. Contacting for disease the properties of treatment market, combiningwith relevant empirical findings, longitudinal and transverse comparison of eachindex, thus we can draw the conclusion that the crux of health care system in ourcountry lies in that rising prices make the economic burden of low-income layer andtoo few supply inhibits high income bracket medical demands.
