Purpose:Observation of TCM complex individualized intervention Integrative Medicine comprehensive treatment of acute on chronic(subacute) the clinical efficacy of chronic severe hepatitis. To the effective rate of the main evaluation index, explore them TCM treatment in conventional Western medicine on the basis of comprehensive efficacy and safety, improve biochemical markers and clinical symptoms, improve quality of life and reduce mortality, clinical treatment for liver failure to provide new ideas.Material and method:Randomized parallel group treatment program designed eight weeks, followed up to 48 weeks, 60 patients with acute on chronic compliant(subacute) liver failure patients in a 2: 1 ratio were randomly assigned to the combination therapy group and Western medicine group observe the subjects of liver function and blood coagulation and other biochemical markers, clinical symptom scores and quality of life scores TCM changes and compare the efficacy of the two groups as a whole. Results: 1.Total efficiency: After 8 weeks of treatment, integrative medicine treatment group was more efficient than the total Western control group was statistically significant between the two groups. 2. Biochemical indicators: the first 8 weeks of treatment, follow-up to the first 48 weeks, both groups of ALT, AST, TBIL, ALB, PTA indicators have improved in each group group were significantly different(P <0.05). Two nodes TBIL and PTA’s decline increased rate of treatment group was significantly better than the control group(P <0.05); no significant difference between the ALT, AST, ALB group. Further follow-up to the 48 th week, ALB increased rate of treatment group than the control group(P <0.05).3.Artificial Liver times: the first eight weeks of treatment to subjects per treatment group than the control group the number of artificial liver, but there was no significant difference between groups. 4.TCM clinical symptom score to quantify: the first two nodes compare the clinical symptoms and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine in both groups improved statistically significant(P <0.05) in the two groups at 48 weeks of follow-up between the two groups of treatment group than the control group(P <0.05). 5.Quantify the quality of life scores: the treatment group were significantly improved in both nodes bodily pain, mental health, vitality, social functioning and quality of life scores and other dimensions(P <0.05), almost all dimensions compared with the control group before treatment There was no statistically significant difference; between the two groups in the physiological function, mental health, vitality and quality of life, such as the dimensions of the total score in treatment group than the control group(P <0.05). 6.Mortality: the first 8 weeks of treatment, the fatality rate in treatment group was significantly lower than the control group. Conclusion: For related acute on chronic hepatitis B(subacute) liver failure in the efficacy of combination therapy is superior to western medicine.
