A Systematic Evaluation Of The Clinical Efficacy Of Chinese Herbal Medicine Combined With Enema In The Treatment Of Ulcerative Colitis

Purpose:To Systematically evaluate clinical efficacy of oral medicine decoction with enema treatment of ulcerative colitis。Material and method : I searched all the randomized controlled trials(RCT) about oral medicine decoction with enema treatment of ulcerative colitis from Wanfang Database、VIP Chinese scientific journals database 、 The China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI) and database, filtering literature according to inclusion criteria and exclusion standard data, extracting date as well as assessing their quality,and then used the Rev Man 5.2 software for data analysis。Results: 1.The difference was statistically significant(RR = 1. 32,95% CI [1.23,1.41],P <0. 00001)by the overall efficacy Meta-analysis。 2.The difference was statistically significant(RR = 1.32,95% CI [1.23,1.41],P <0.05)by the healing rate Meta-analysis。 3.oral medicine decoction with enema treatment of ulcerative colitis can improve the overall efficiency as well as the healing rate of the treatment of ulcerative colitis 。 1.overall efficiency and healing rate of the treatment of ulcerative colitis by oral medicine decoction with enema may be higher than by oral western medicine。 2.The low methodological quality of RCT in clinical trials of traditional Chinese medicine points that we need more large sample,multi-centers,high quality RCT to demonstrate the conclusion 。Conclusion: 1.overall efficiency and healing rate of the treatment of ulcerative colitis by oral medicine decoction with enema may be higher than by oral western medicine。 2.The low methodological quality of RCT in clinical trials of traditional Chinese medicine points that we need more large sample,multi-centers, high quality RCT to demonstrate the conclusion 。...
