Expression And Significance Of Notchl, Notch2 And Notch3 Receptor Proteins In Lymphoma Tissues

Objective:To explore the expression of Notch1, Notch2, Notch3 receptor protein in different types of lymphoma tissues, investigate the relationship between Notch signaling pathway and lymphoma.Methods: The expression of Notch1、Notch2、Notch3 in 59 cases of non-hodgkin’s lymphoma pathological tissue(39 cases of B cell lymphoma、12 cases of T cell lymphoma and 8 cases of NK/T cell lymphoma)and 21 cases of Lymph-node reactive hyperplasia were examine by SP immumohistochemistry.And analyse the relations of Notch1、Notch2、Notch3 receptor proteins with the pathogenesis of Lymphoma.Results: 1.The positive expression of Notch1, Notch2, Notch3 receptor protein mainly in the cell membrane.Dyeing present light yellow to tan.2. The positive rate of Notch1 receptor proteins in NK/T cell lymphoma group,T cell lymphoma group,B cell lymphoma group and the control group was 87.50%(6/8), 83.33%(10/12), 17.95%(7/39) and 9.52%(2/21).The expression of Notch1 was significantly higher in T-cell lymphoma and NK/T-cell lymphoma than that in the B-cell lymphoma and the control,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01). 3. The positive rate of Notch2 receptor proteins expressed in the above four groups’ organization was 62.50%(5/8), 8.33%(1/12), 58.97%(23/39) and 4.7%(1/21). The expression of Notch2 was obviously higher in B-cell lymphoma and NK/T-cell lymphoma than that in the T-cell lymphoma and the control,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01).4. The positive rate of Notch3 receptor proteins expressed in the above four groups’ organization was 62.50%(5/8), 16.67%(2/12), 5.13%(2/39) and 4.7%(1/21),The expression of Notch3 in NK/T-cell lymphoma group was significantly higher than that in the other three groups, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.01)Conclusion: Abnormal activation of Notch signaling pathway is closely related to the occurrence and development of lymphoma.The occurrence and development of NK/T-cell lymphoma is probably associated with the high expression of Notch1, Notch2 and Notch3; The occurrence and development of T- cell lymphoma is probably related tothe high expression of Notch1; The occurrence and development of B-cell lymphoma is probably associated with the high expression of Notch2.The study suggests that by adjusting the Notch signal system may be the new therapy of lymphoma.
