A Preliminary Study On The Effect Of Sancaihuanghuang Jiangtang Powder On The Pre - Diabetes Mellitus (Qi - Yin Deficiency Type) Based On The Theory Of Chinese Medicine

Purpose:A preliminary study based on the theory of cure notill of three erhuang hypoglycemic powder of pre-diabetes (qi and Yin deficiency type).Methods:Separate 80 pre-diabetes patients into two groups of the same size:the remedy group (lifestyle intervention+Three erhuang hypoglycemic powder) and the control group (lifestyle intervention).Before the study pre-diabetes patients of the two groups are tested OGTT and Insulin release index detection。After 12 weeks pre-diabetes patients of the two groups are tested OGTT and Insulin release index detection, compare and analyze the insulin sensitivity index (ISI), homeostasis model assessment-insulin resistance (HOMA-IR), pre-diabetes reverse rate and the diabetes converse rate. And send the venous blood samples of patients who completed the LABS to ShangHai Biotechnology corporation national engeering center for biochip to detecte Gene chip. According to the result of the Gene chip to analyze the expression in differentially expressed genes.Results:1. For control group, the remedy group’s Ln(HOMA-IR) decreased (P<0.05), Ln(ISI) increase (P<0.05) and Ln(HOMA-β) no change (P>0.05),while the control group had no significant difference (P>0.05). Except for Ln (HOMA-β), the other indicators are statistically different (P<0.05);Pre-diabetes reverse rate of the remedy group is 45.7%, the diabetes converse rate of the remedy group is 5.7%, pre-diabetes reverse rate of the control group is 5.9%, the diabetes converse rate of the control group is 29.4%, There is significant difference between the two groups(P<0.01).2. Compared with control group, the remedy group have 29 differentially expressed genes, including 15 up-regulated and 14 down-regulated.3. Compared with control group, the The signal value of the two differentially expressed genes which named ENPP1 and TCF7L2 are Significantly lower.Conclusions:1. For patients with pre-diabetes,Three erhuang hypoglycemic powder helps to improve insulin sensitivity index and pre-diabetes reverse rate, reduce homeostasis model assessment-insulin resistance and diabetes converse rate.2. For patients with pre-diabetes,Three erhuang hypoglycemic powder can cause a variety of changes in gene expression.3. For patients with pre-diabetes,Three erhuang hypoglycemic powder can control the expression of differentially expressed genes.
