Poutry industry is with high socialization degree and high value of output, and chicken industry leads the main direction of poutry industry. Selection of egg type chicken is related with the whole poutry industry tightly. The advancement of breeding becomes rather slow, because of development of selection degree of egg type. Recently, the application and development of molecular biology promoted the breeding advencement, and profited to find genes which influence egg yield. In the research, mRNA differential display method was used to analyze the differential gene expression gene fragments of ovary tissues among 32 week-old CAU-pink between high-yield chicken and low-yield chicken population. Aims of the present paper are to detect differential gene expression fragments in high-yield chicken and low-yield chicken population; to analyze the factor effecting egg yield; to discuss the mechanism of leading to the high production; to approach genetic factor which are related egg laying yield and its mechanisms from molecular level; so as to settle base for improvement of high yield chicken. The data analysis results of production traits revealed that: there were significant correlation between egg number and abdomen fatty weight of 32 weeks old high-yield and low-yield chicken(p<0.01), while there were negative significant correlation on the egg weight, yolk weight, egg shell weight, egg shell rigidity, egg shell thickness and body weight, depilation weight, body weigt without limbs, bowels long, body weight without internal organs between high-yield and low-yield chicken. The results indicate that: (1) Total of 336 cDNA bands were amplificated by 15 primer combinations, 249 bands could repeated, repetition ratio was 74.01%, average bands amplificated per primer combination is 22.40, 16.60 bands could repeated; of 249 repeated bands, 59 bands were differential expression bands , ratio was 23.69% ; average 3.93 differential bands were amplificated per primer combination; (2)59 bands were differential displayed fragments, which can be divided into 5 types of differential...
