The Research Of Medicinal Plant Gene Bank Construction Technology And Conserve Technology

The importance of gene bank was seriously obtained around the world. Crop gene banks were in the majority in our country however the construction of specialized medicinal plant gene bank was relatively delayed. After the National Medicinal Plant Gene Bank (NMPGB) come into operation, will have profound and long-term significance to the modernization of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), and accelerate the nation to predominate the development of TCM actively.To build an NMPGB which could satisfy the medicinal plant collection, preserved and the research request , studing with the investigation of the construction situation of gene bank in recent years, grasp development trend of gene bank construction, by architectural design, equipment selection, control system, dry condition research.At the same time, research on the monitoing were carried to consummates the design proposal, so to meets the needs.The germplasm collection and the preservation are central tasks of a gene bank, this subject proposed the collection plan and the seed processing program after repeated practices. Participated in studies and develops the information system of NMPGB,can realize the germplasm resources modern management, promote seeds exchange and information sharing. Bupleurum chinensis was used as material to study the physiochemical and bio-chemical changes of different seed moisture content , the results showed that slight decrease of seed moisture content could be beneficial to seed preservation, but further drying would decrease seed vigor . the germination percentage change of different storage methords of Bupleurum seeds showed that gene bank was the best .And the seed drying time before warehousing of 91 kinds of different plants were achieved .
