| Shuang Huang Lian refined aerosol consists of the effective ingredients of Flos Lonicerae Fructus Forsythiae and Radix Scutellariae and propellant according to the basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine. Among these ingredients,the chlorogenic acid in Flos Lonicerae is the main anti -bacteria and anti-virus ingredient.With the content of chlorogenic acid as index, this experiment has determined chlorogenic acid in Flos Lonicerae of different growing period by HPLC. The result is that the optimum collection time is the early period of bud .To optimize the extraction process of chlorogenic acid in Flos Lonicerae and establish standard for quality control, the optimum extraction was investigated by orthogonal design and chlorogenic acid was determined by HPLC. The optimum extraction procedures are as follows: decoct for 4Omin,decoce for 3 times, add 20 times of water every time, add 70% ethanal for precipitation. Extraction is refined by macro pore resin C. Indentified by TLC and determined by HPLC, the quality control of Flos Lonicerae and Shuang Huang Lian refined aerosol has been founded. This method is stable and efficient.Control substance of chlorogenic acid has also been made. The purity of control substance accords with the demands of the standard.
