Objective To evaluate the effect of P -lactamases on the clinical, it was examined in klebsiella species and E. coli with molecular biological methods in Shandong province. Methods Fifty nine ampicillin-resistant klebsiella species and Escherichia Coli were collected. Thirty eight ESBL-producing strains were screened by CAZ and CTX single-disc diffusion test. Twenty one ESBL-producing strains were confirmed by confirmative test. Positives were confirmed using Etese. We detected SHV-ESBL with PCR-Nhe I method in four strains, which contain blashv. We analysed DNA sequencing of three strains, which contain blashv and blatem. Results Thirteen isolates gave positive results by confirmative test and Etest. With PCR-Nhe I method, there is not positive result. Conclusion At present, TEM-ESBL-mediated resistance is more common than SHV-ESBL-mediated resistance in clinical isolates in Shandong province.
