Although perfusion-chemotherapy with drugs has acquired affirmative effect after bladder cancer operation, the random materials in recent long-term follow-up showed that it didn't decrease the rate of tumor recurrence after long-term follow-up. So how to prevent the recurrence after bladder cancer operation is always one of the central issues that the researchers research at home and abroad.Current research considers that there is close relationship between the body's immunity and the occurrence, progress and prognosis of malignant tumors, especially the cellular immunity. Thermotherapy which developed in recent years is a new method thatcan treat malignant tumors, and it is regarded as the fifth method that can treat cancers following operation, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and biotherapy. With the deep research of thermotherapy, many researchers consider that local thermotherapy can stimulate the body's immune system, and relieve the inhibited immune condition of the patients and enhance the body's immunity. We examined serum soluble interleukin-2 receptor(SIL-2R) and peripheral blood T-lymphocyte subsets before and after treatment, and researched the effect of thermotherapy with herba rabdosia rubescens on immunity in patients with bladder cancer and investigated the influence on recurrence of it. The aim of this study is to evaluate the mechanism of thermotherapy with herba rabdosia rubescens and to promote it's clinical use and P<0pularization.Objects and methods: (1) Fifty-two BTCC patients were collected and randomly divided into thermo-perfusion with herba rabdosia rubescens group (group E, 28 cases)and perfusion with herba rabdosia rubescens group(group D, 24 cases). Twenty nomally healthy adults were collected as control group (group C). Group E and D were received thermotherapy with herba rabdosia rubescens liquid and perfusion-therapy with herba rabdosia rubescens alone respectively ten-fourteen days after operation. (2) Venous blood was collected before operation, after operation and after thermo-perfusion or perfusion respectively on morning in group E and D. We examinedserum SIL-2R and peripheral blood T-lymphocyte subsets by ELISA and Immunofluorescence method respectively. (3) Statistical analysis: We used SPSS 10.0 to analyze the data. Results were expressed by x + s. a =0.05 was regarded as the level of test. Analysis of variance and X2 test were used to analyze the data. There is a statistical significance when p<0.05.Results: (1) In group C, group D before operation and group E before operation, the level of serum SIL-2R was 286.95 +82.60u/ml, 424.67 + 99.62u/ml and 430.79 + 104.95u/ml respectively. The serum SIL-2R level in group D before operation and group E before operation was significantly higher than that in group C (P<0.01), while there was no statistical significance between group D and E (P>0.05). After operation, the serum SIL-2R level in group D and E was 4,38.17+112.38u/ml and 454.11 + 114.16u/ml respectively. The level of serum SIL-2R in group D and E after operation was also significantly higher than that in group C (P<0.01), while there was no statistical significance between after operation and before operation (P>0.05). There was no statistical significance for SIL-2R between group D and E after operation (P>0.05). After perfusion in group D and after thermo-perfusion in group E, the serum SIL-2R level was 416.83+106.86u/ml and 304.14+115.81u/ml respectively. There was no statistical significance between after perftision and before operation or after operation in group D for serum SIL-2R level(P>0.05). However the level of serum SIL-2R in group D after perfusion was still significantly higher than that in group C (P<0.01).After thermo-perfusion in group E the serum SIL-2R level decreased. It was significantly lower than that in before operation and after operation(P<0.01) and that in after p... | Keywords/Search Tags: | Bladder neoplasms, Carcinoma, Thermotherapy, Herba, rabdosia, rubescens, Immunoassay | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
