| This study used long-acting xintongning tablets to treat cornary heart disease and stable angina pectoris .Cornary heart disease and stable angina pectoris belong to chest bi-syndrom of TCM. The pathogenesis of acute chest bi-syndrome and cardialgia is stagnation of QI,blood stasis phlegm retente collatenal of heart,with the basic pathogenesis of stagnation of QI. According to "relieving the secondary symptom in an acute case",a principle of treatment of regulating qi,activating blood circulation,eliminating phlem removing obstruction in the channels to relieve pain was selected. Underlying the theory and experience of precedessors,using long-acting preparation,choosing herbs,prescribing rationally,we developed long-acting xintongning tablets80 patients treated with long-acting xintongning tablets were taken as curative group,another 40 cases treated with danshen tables were taken as control group. The results showed that the total effective rate of the relief of pain was 93.75% in the curative group,and 66.67% in the control group. There was a significant difference between them (p<0.05). The total effective rate of ameliorating symptom of the curative group was 95%,which was obviously superior to that of the control group of 85%(p<0.05). Besides,the curative group had remarkable effect upon improving ECG,heart type enzyme(CK),hemorrheology,which were also superior to the control group(p<0.05).The animal experimental study showed long-acting xintongning tablets improved blood of ischemic myocardium,increased hypoxia tolerant,raisedSOD and NO in rat serum,lessened MDA,better the function of endothelia and reduced rate of platelet aggregation induced by ADP.This study used a new type of preparations. The long-acting xintongning tablets have obvious effect and less side effects. It is convient to operate and easy to spread in clinic. So it will be useful for clinic.
