Clinical Studies On Treatment Of Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Protrusion By Electroacupuncture

Purpose: Devised a treatment acupointsprescription of Electroacupuncture(EA) on Lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion(LIDP) with complete theory ,exact compationbility,oosistent effect. Methods:Looking on clinical curative effeat,complex evaluation of pain ,clinical electric physiology as observation indexes , using the way of the organic combination of disease and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differention theory of Meridian ,combination of the Distant-Local points, obsearved 95 patients of the ectatic and the bulgy of LIDP . Results : 〤linical curative effect and complex evaluation of the Eagroup was superier to that of the control group (P<0.05,P<0.01),the cured rate was 53.1%,the obviously cured rate was 83.1%,the total effective rate was 93.8%.(2) The EA group significantly improved abnormal EMG rate of LIDP patients (P<0.05).Conclusions: 〤linical curative effect and complex evaluation of the EA group was superier to that of the control group (/)<0.05).(g)EA has benign regulative effect on electric physiology feature of nerve root injury. (3) The main indication of EA in treatment of LIDP is the ectatic and the bulgy.
