Object To determine clinical significance and expression of Ki-67, CyclinD1, P16 and P27 protein in Laryngeal Carcinoma.Methods To detect expression of Ki-67, CyclinD1, P16 and P27 protein in 41 cases laryngeal carcinoma tissues by immunohistochemical S-P methods, 12 Cases pericarcinoma tissues used as control and comparison.Results The positive expression of Ki-67 was localized in the nuclei of cell ; and cyclinD1, P16 and P27 were localized in the plasmic of cell. The positive expression rate of Ki-67, cyclinD1, P16 and P27 were 53.6% ,51.2%,29.2%and 26.8% respectively in 41 cases laryngeal carcinoma tissues; and were 16.7%,16.7%, 66.7% and 58.3% respectivelyin 12 cases pericarcinoma tissues. Expression of every oncogene was significant difference between laryngeal carcinoma tissues and pericarcinoma tissues (P<0.05). The positive expression rate of four oncogene were not significant difference in laryngeal carcinoma patient with different sex,age ,disease times,tumor sites and TNM stages, but were significant difference among pathological stages of laryngeal carcinoma tissues. The level expression of Ki-67 and P27 were correlation in the groups with smoking and drinking , not correlation were showed in the level erpression of CyclinD1 and P16. The positive expression of Ki-67 and CyclinD1 were correlation in laryngeal carcinoma patient with and without lymph node metastasis; not correlation were showed in The positive expression of P16 and P27. The positive expression of Ki-67 closely related to The positive expression of P27(P<0.05). No correlation were found between Ki-67 and CyclinD1 and P16; between CyclinD1 and P16 and P27; between P16 and P27(P>0.05).Conclusion The results suggested that four oncogene protein might play an important role in the development and progression of laryngeal carcinoma and should be used as an important marker of malignant degree of laryngeal carcinoma. Ki-67 and CyclinD1 should be used as two important factors of metastasis and prognosis of laryngeal carcinoma.
