Abstract: Objective: To study the effects of bone marrow stromal cells(BMSC)transplantation on hematopoiesis and immune function of mice with high dose chemotherapy by BALB/ c mices. Method: BMSC of BALB/ c mices were cultured ex vivo expansion.Syngeneic mices were given high-dose chemotherapy and culture-expanded BMSC infusion. Levels of WBC, RBC, PLT, CFU-Mix, proliferation index(PI)of bone marrow(BM) cells and proliferate activity of splenic cells were observed in varous time, 3, 7 and 14 day , respectively. Results: There were no toxicities related to the infusion of BMSC. Median time to achieve a normal levels was 7 days in mice with chemotherapy and infusion of BMSC, 14 days in mice with chemotherapy, respectively. Conclusion: Transplantation of BMSC can promote hematopoietic and immune recovery after high dosechemotherapy.
