The Expression Of Bcl-2,Bcl-xl,Bax In Cholesteatoma And The Relationship Between The Apoptosis Of Cholesteatoma With Them

The objective of this study is to explore the expression of Bcl -2 , Bcl-xl - Bax in 31 samples of cholesteatoma, 11 samples of external anditory canal skin from the patients with cholesteatoma by the method of immunohistochemistrial technology and in situ Cell Death Detection technology respectively. The results showed as follows :1. The expression of Bax in cholesteatoma is highly upregulated,but of Bcl-2 and Bcl-xl,the expression of them in cholesteatoma tissue is similar to the normal external ear canal epithelium,which infers that the existing imbalance among Bcl-2 , Bcl-xl and Bax. That refer to the difference of apoptosis between the normal external ear canal epithelium with cholesteatoma epithelium.2. Tolt-mediated dUTP nick end labeling staining revealed that many positively stained nuclei in suprabasal layers of most cholesteatoma epithelium,whereas only few positively stained nuclei found in granular layers of the partly normal external ear canal epithelium...
