Chinese Forest Frog( Rana chensinensis) is a kind of important frog in China and one of the most important medical animals of Hei Longjiang Provence. There are plenty of reports on the content and parts of functions of the Oviductus Ranae at present, but the effect of anti-aging and its mechanism and deeper research about the Oviductus Ranae and its different parts are never found. It will be a firm foundation of effective development and utilization of Chinese Forest Frog if the anti-aging function and its mechanism can be confirmed, and a new anti-aging medicine resource will be found.With the use of mice' ability of learning & memory and the biochemical & histological change of hippocampus as main index, the effect of different extracts of the Oviductus Ranae on the ability of learning & memory of the aging model mice were demonstrated and the possible action mechanism was studied in this paper. The research made aging models by injecting excessive D-galactose to Kunming mice, feeding them with suspensions of the Oviductus Ranae, extracts of aqueous phase and benzene phase. Then made experiments with different kinds of behavior methods to study the ability of learning & memory; to demonstrate the Na+-K+-ATPase activity of the hippocampus nerve cells with the method of ATPase kit; the writer took the technology of histological section to observe the biological change of model's hippocampus.The result mentioned that the Oviductus Ranae, extracts of aqueous phase and benzene phase can improve aging model mice's learning & memory ability; can increase the activity of the Na+-K+-ATPase; the hippocampus nerve cell's collocation of mice fed with the Oviductus Ranae, extracts of aqueous phase and benzene phase was in order and tight, their number lost a little but the aging model mice's nerve cells lost much.The result showed that the Na+-K+-ATPase activity of the aging models reduced sharply related to others, their nerve cells were seriously damaged. It mentioned that the ability of learning & memory may descend but the Oviductus Ranae and its extracts can improve the learning & memory ability and the Na+-K+-ATPase activity relatively, provided a possible action mechanism of the Oviductus Ranae to the ability of learning & memory.
