Clinical And Experimental Study On Treating The Dizziness Caused By Vertebrobasilar Insufficiency With Ge Gui Qi Long Mixture

Objective: To investigate the effect of Ge Gui Qi Long on the dizziness due to vertebrobasilar insufficiency(VBI), and to study the effective mechanism. Method:65(sixty-five)standard clinical cases are divided into two random groups and treated respectively. Result: It is shown that the obviously effective rate in the treated group is 54.29%, the totally effective rate 85.58%; and in the controlled group the obviously effective rate is 30%. The total effective rate 60%, There is significant difference between them through statistical management(P<0.05). The experimental study indicates that Ge Gui Qi Long Tang many improve hemorheologic markers, regulate blood lipids, reduce TXB2 in plasma, increase 6-keto-PGF1a, and raise brain blood flow. Conclusion: Ge Gui Qi Long Mixture can reduce blood viscidity, regulate blood flow condition, reduce blood lipids, improve microcirculation, and raise brain blood flow, which proves the mechanism and effectiveness on the dizziness due to VBI, initially.
