| Objective To provide anatomical and CT, MR image data of the morphologic structure of lumbar spine through observing and measuring local people lumbar spine specimen and CT, MR images.Method Three local young men's lumbar spine specimens have been studied in axial, sagittal or coronal planes respectively. One-hundred people's CT images and forty-seven people's MR images have been observed and measured in corresponding planes. Results The relationship of the structure of lumbar spine in different section have been elucidated and normal reference dimensions of the diameters of lumbar spinal, diameters of lateral recess, diameters of disc-flava ligament space, posterior disc height, foraminal height have been demonstrated. There is significant difference between diameters of lumbar spinal in CT W 350 L 50 disc plane andCT W 1500 L 400 over pedicle plane. There is no significant difference between diameters of lumbar spinal in CT W350 L50 and MR disc plane. There is significant difference between diameters of lateral recess and disc-flava ligament space in same spine section. There is no significant difference in L1-L2, L2-L3, L3-L4, L4-L5 posterior disc height, but there is significant difference between L1-L5 and L5-S1 posterior disc height.95% low limit dimension of posterior disc heights 3.65 mm in L1-L4, 2.14mm in L5-S1, 95% low limit dimension of foraminalheight is 15.62mm in L1-S1. Liner correlation weredemonstrated between disc height and foraminal height inL1-L5 and L5-S1.Conclusion therefore, the study of lumbar spine specimensand measurement of CT, MR images are well establishedhave diagnostic and treatmental value in patients withlumbar spine disorders. |
