| Objective  To investigate the cytotoxicity and   radiation sensitizing enhance- ment effect of Aidi injection on nasopharyhgeal carcinoma cell line CNE-2 in vitro. Methods  The cytotoxicity of different concentration of Aidi injection on nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell line CNE-2 was observed,and IC50 was calculated by Karber method.The CNE-2 cells were treated in vitro with different doses of radiation alone and radiation after 24 hours of Aidi injection exposure.Colony forming assay was used for survival fraction analysis.Multi-hit single-target model was used to plot survival curve. Determined the values of D0 and Dq of the two groups,and calculated sensitization enhancement ratio(SER) of Aidi injection. Results  The value of IC50 was 13.78mg/ml.The appropriate concentration of Aidi injection combined with irradiation was 10mg/ml. It was demonstrated that the value of D0 of CNE-2 cells received radiation combined with Aidi injection decreased.The value of Dq of CNE-2 cells received radiation alone was 3.3102Gy,and that of CNE-2 cells received radiation plus Aidi injection was 2.3015Gy,with SER was 1.44. Conclusions  Aidi injection has been shown obvious cytotoxicity and some radiosensitizing effect on nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells in vitro. |
