Objective: To research the influence of intra - cytoplasmic sperm injection and in vitro fertilization on follicle fertilization rate, the quality of embryo and clinical pregnanct rate in assisted reproductive technologies. To develop the practical value of intra - cytoplasmic sperm injection.Methods: A study was done on the number of gain the follicle , the fertilization rate, the embryo shape, the embryo morphology and clinical pregnanct rate, 40 cycles intra - cytoplasmic sperm injection and 40 cycles in vitro fertilization were selected. The SPSS 8. 0 statistical software was used for x2 check.Results: 1. From The ICSI group in 40 cycles 367 follicles were obtained, the number of fertilization was 245, the fertilization rate was 66. 76% ;The IVF group, in 40 cycles got 521 follicles, the number of fertilization was 221, the fertilization rate was 42.42% , there was outstanding difference between them (x2 = 51.148, p<0. 001).2. In the ICSI group, the number of blasted follicles was 219, the number of A grade embryo was 30, the number of B grade embryo was 48, the rate of superior embryo (A + B) was 36. 99 % ; In the IVF group thenumber of blasted follicle was 199, the number of A grade embryo was 27,the number of B grade embryo was 48, the rate of superior embryo (A + B) was 37. 6 % . There wasn' t outstanding difference between them ( x = 0. 525,P>0.05).3. In the ICSI group, the number of biochemical pregnancy was 15, the number of clinical pregnancy was 12, the rate of pregnancy was 30. 77% . ;In the IVF group, the number of biochemicalpregnancy was 15, the number of clinical pregnancy was 13, the rate of pregnancy was 33. 33% . There wasn' t outstanding difference between them( x2 = 0.059 , p >0. 05).Conclusions: There is different in the fertilization rate of follicle between IVF and ICSI. ICSI can improve the situation that sperm or follicle can't be fertilized in natural condition, and there isn't outstanding difference in superior embryo between ICSI and IVF , so ICSI don't affect the quality of embryo, but also don't affect the fertalization rate and the rate of clinical preg-nanct.
