Objective To evaluate cells ratios of T lymphocyte subsets and NK cells in advanced gastric cancer patients,who accepted early peritoneal immunochemotherapy after operation.Methods 63 cases were randomized into three groups, group of resection of gastric cancer ,group of early peritoneal chemotherapy after operation and group of early peritoneal immunochemotherapy after operation and flow cytometry was used to measure CD3+ of T, CD4+ of Th, CD8+ of Ts, CD16++CD56+ of NK.Results CD3+,CD4+,CD4+ /CD8+ cell ratios of 63 advanced gastric cancer patients were significantly lower than those of normal cases before operation and on the third day after operation,vice versa CD8+(P<0.05﹞.In group of cases of resection of gastric cancer, cell ratios of CD3+,CD4+/CD8+ were significantly lower on the third day after operation than that of the day before operation and the fourteenth day after operation (P<0.05﹞.In group of early intraperitoneal chemotherapy after operation ,CD4+,CD4+/CD8+ cell ratios were significantly decreased on the fourteenth day after operation (P<0.05﹞, cell ratio of CD16++CD56+ was significantly down regularly from the day before operation to the fourteenth day after operation.In group of early intraperitoneal immunochemotherapy after operation, CD4+/CD8+ was at the lowest level on the third day after operation (P<0.05﹞.In advanced gastric cancer cases of stage Ⅲ,the conditions were nearly equal to those of patients of advanced gastric cancer on the day pre-operation and on the third day post-operation. In group of early intraperitoneal chemotherapy after operation, CD3+,CD4+/CD8+,CD16++CD56+ consistently were down regularly after operation, vice versa CD8+.In group of early intraperitoneal immunochemotherapy after operation, CD16++CD56+ came down on the third day and recovered on the fourteenth day after operation.On the fourteenth day after operation, CD16++CD56+ in group of early intraperitoneal immunochemotherapy after operation was higher than that of the two others, and CD16++CD56+ showed significantly trend in the other groups (P<0.05﹞. Conclusion In patients of advanced gastric cancer,including cases of stage Ⅲ,resection of gastric cancer causes reversible change of cellular immunity on cases from the day before operation to the fourteenth day after operation. Early intraperitoneal chemotherapy after operation aggrevates the impair of cellular immune function.Early intraperitoneal immunotherapy after operation can improve the celluar immune activity of T cell subsets and NK cells in cases of which have low celluar immune function caused by early intraperitoneal chemotherapy after operation.
