| Bio-heat transfer science chiefly studies the heat & mass transfer law as well asthermal effect of living tissue inside the body, and is an interdisciplinary science ofbiology, medical science and heat & mass transfer. In this paper, the heat transfermechanism of tongue was studied with the method of interdisciplinary science on thebackground of tongue inspection in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Traditionalmedicine is the rarity of china, and his intension is deep, and possesses systematictheory system and notable effect curing. But because of lacking the objective theoryas the basis at the aspect of tongue inspection in Traditional Chinese Medicinemechanism researching, the perfect progress is hard to appear breakthrough andsublimation. The aim of this paper is, adopts theory and method of thermal science toexplore the tongue inspection mechanism, and studies the mechanism that the tonguebody temperature changes, chiefly is the blood vessel builds conditions to the tonguebody temperature influence, among them stressly studies that the related naturebetween blood vessel distribution and trends in the three-dimensional space, bloodperfusion rate and metabolism etc and tongue body temperature. Infrared Thermovision and Laser Doppler Blood Flow Meter were used inexperiment to get the person's tongue surface temperature information and tongueminute area blood circulation, which were used to inquire the relation between thetongue temperature and blood perfusion rate, and that the difference between healthperson and disease patient was analyzed. The pig tongue blood vessel casting moldexperiment had been carried on, thus gain the physics model that the pig tongue bloodvessel distributes. Adopting the specially measurement method procures the dataorganization in three-dimensional space according to the tongue body true form ofblood vessel, and rebuild the essential model which is available meshing in thecomputer. Adopting finite element method simulated the pig tongue three-dimensiontemperature fields, for the first time getting the three-dimension temperaturedistribution of animal body, and discuss the influence of blood vessel geometrystructure and living tissue parameters to the temperature distribution. The result show, three-dimension temperature field getting by the method ofnumerical calculation is very important to the study of not only compute heat transferscience but bio-heat transfer deep into. Not only providing scientific calculationmethod and experience but also proving the effect of blood heat transfers in tonguetemperature distribution. The research proves Blood vessel scale and the distributionform decide the state of tongue body temperature. The computing analysis informsthat blood perfusion rate enlarging makes the quantity of blood convection increase,thus the whole tongue body temperature goes up. Metabolism heat is not very clear tothe influence effect of tongue body temperature field, and the major reason is that thenumerical value is fairly small. This paper get the tongue body three dimensiontemperature distribution, and confirmed the heat transfer law in the tonguetemperature and blood vessels initially. It will be referential to study person's tongueheat transfer specific property further and verifying that the relation between surfacetemperature of tongue under different blood perfusion rate and the symptom subarea.
