| Objective To quantitative analysis and assess the hemodenamic change of pancreas in the physiologic and pathologic condition. Methods 60 cases were examined for pancreatic perfusion from January to April in 2004.The multisection dynamic CT perfusion series was performed for pancreatic perfusion with cine mode ( 0.5s per rotation ) on a multisection CT scanner ( Lightspeed 16, GE , USA ) ,120kV, 60mA/80mA, 4X5mm collimation. Contrast injection was done by using 50 ml nonionic contrast agent ( 300 mg I/ml ),at a flow rate of 4 ml/s with a power injector, and 5 seconds delay, and data acquisition lasted for 50 seconds. These datas were processed on a GE AW4.1 workstation using perfusion 3 software package with deconvolution method, and the mean BF. BV .. MTT and PS were measured and ststistically analyzed in patients with normal pancreas(n=30) and pancreatic carcinoma(n=30) proven by clinic and pathology, respectively. Results The study shows all of perfusion parameters don't influenced by age, sex and difference positions of pancreas(>>0.05).The mean BF. BV. MTT and PS in normal pancreas tissue were 163. 403 ?50. 220 ml/min/lOOg . 13. 693 ?2. 672ml/100g 9. 324?. 504s 20. 017?. 841 m/min/1 Irrespectively. The mean BF BV MTT and PS in pancreatic carcinoma were 29. 698?11. 751 ml/min/lOOg,3. 842?.663 ml/IOC 10. 848?. 128 s 10. 762?. 967 ml/min/lOOg. The mean BF BV PS and PS/BF ratio between pancreatic carcinoma and normal pancreas were statistically significant(P < 0.05 = .However, the mean MTT between two groups was not statistically significant(P > 0.05). 10 cases of the pancreatic carcinoma group were compared among the lesion, the surrounding (narrow rim of adjacent pancreas tissue of approximately lcm)and normal tissue (the distance more than 2cm to the border of lesion) by themselves. The PS/BF ratio between the surrounding and normal pancreas was statistically significant;the others were not statistically significant. The mean BF BV and PS in pancreatic carcinoma and the surrounding were statistically significant, respectively;but the PS/BF ratio was not statistically significant. The mean MTT in three groups was not statistically significant too. Conclusions MSCT perfusion imaging may reflect the features of tumor perfusion, show the extent of perfusion disturbances, and provide valuable hemo-dynamic information.Among the perfusion parameters, the BF and BV were markedly decreased ,the mean PS was decreased, but the PS/BF ratio was increased in pancreatic carcinoma. These parameters have a reference value in diagnosis and are helpful for differential diagnosis . |
