The Expression And Significance Of C-erbB-2 And EGFr In Seborrheic Keratosis

Objective:The expression of C-erbB-2 and EGFr in seborrheic keratosis(SK) lesionsand normal skin tissue was detected to investigate the effects of TGF- a EGFrin the pathogenesis of SK.Methods: The C-erbB-2 and EGFr expression in situ in 30 cases of SK and 10cases of normal skin tissue in control was examined by immunohisto- chemistryassay.ResuIts:The expressive intensity of C-erbB-2 and EGFr in the SK group wassignificantly higher than those in the controls relatively.Conclusion: 1. The expression of C-erbB-2 and EGFr was found in normal skintissues . The expression of C-erbB-2 and EGFr in SK tissues was significantly higherthan that in normal skin tissues which suggested C-erbB-2 and EGFr played aimportant role in the proliferation of SK cells.2.Although there is a gene homogeneity and structure similarity between C-erbB-2and EGFr,we did not find a coincidence of expression between C-erbB-2 and EGFr inSK tissures,which reminded us the expression of C-erbB-2 and EGFr in SK tissueswas relatively independent and the expression of EGFr is more notable.
