The purpose of the research is to develop a kind of new drug form-the effervescent tablets of Rhodiola rosea.Rhodiola rosea L. is a perennial plant or undershrub plant. The root or the rhizome of this plant is used as medicine. This plant have been mainly activing blood and doing stypticity, clearing away plumonary disease and relieving a cough. It can aslo be exterior used to treat the damage and the scald. The lasted findings stated that the plant can improve the body immunity, such as: anti-anoxia, anti-fatigue, anti-cold, anti-microwave radiatation and so on.Chemical components of Rhodiola rosea had been studied so many, it is well known that Salidroside and tyrosol had been affirmed. A white-acicular crystallization was isolated from the root and undershrub of Rhodiola rosea in Xinjiang province in China. The structures was determined by spectroscopic means such as UV, IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, 2D-NMR and identified it as salidroside.The extracts of Rhodiola rosea was screened by means of Optimal experiment design, basing on the content of extractum and salidroside. The results showed that the best technology is 14 times volume water, three times boiling, each time lasting 1.5 hour, concentrating soup to ralative density 1.10-1.15, having the soup deposited by adding 95% alcohol till the soup containeing the 60% contents alcohol, recovering the alcohol and drying it by decompressed to the dried extractum.Screening the description of effervescent tablets of Rhodiola rosea by means of an uniform design. Using dicarbonate and citrin as effervscent reagent, we adapted the method of enclosing the dicarbonate by PEG6000. Observing the preparation characters of pH, the time ofdisintegration, the volume of bubble and the hardness, respectively. The results showed that citrin: dicarbonate(0.45 : 1) was the best.Establish the quality criteria of efferrescent tablets of Rhodiola rosea. HPLC methold was applied to determinated the concentration of salidroside in tablets. Extracted salidroside was used as the standard. The mobile phase was methanol-water(18 : 82) at a flow rate of 0.5ml ·min-1. Column temperature of 30℃. The detection wavelength was 276nm. The calibration curve showed good linearity over the range of 90.4-452.0ng (Y=938.8X+6647.1, r=0.99996). The recovery rate was 98.22% (RSD=1.9%).Study the stability of the effervescent tablets of Rhodiola rosea. Using high temperature test, high humidity test and acceleration test, respectively, we observed the stability of preparation and the results showed the preparation was stable to light and heat, but was instable to humidity. We can overcome it by using the suitable pack.
