| Lung transplantation is the much later one of the organs transplantation. It has been one of the most new and potential subjects in thoracic surgery recently. Now, lung transplantation has been the only way to end-stage lung diseases. A successful lung transplantation can bring new lives for the patients who suffer from the terminal lung diseases. Lung transplantation turns more perfected than before in the Europe and America, and it has become one of the regular medical methods. But it is relatively backward in Asia and China. And the survival rate after lung transplantation in Asia is lower than in Europe and North America. Lung transplantation was carried out much more lately. Only some hospitals in Beijing and Shanghai did several cases of lung transplantations. Now the lung transplantation has been one of most important subjects of thoraces in the 21th century. Preparation for the clinical human lung transplantation with the least delay, we do the experiment of the canines' lung transplantations. ã€Objective】 To master the operation skills of lung transplantation and preservation of the lung donor. To master the whole methods and the post-operation therapy. It will lay the basis for the further study on human lung transplantation .ã€Methods】 (right lung transplantation) Autotransplantation: An adult and healthy canine. Perfuse the right lung with 10℃ HC-A solution. The ischemia time is about 1.5 hours. Put the lung back into the thoracic cavity. The canine died of bleeding on the operation. Transplantation between two canines: two male canines with similar weight. One was used for donor and anther for recipient. The donor received prostaglandin E1 intravenously before flushing the pulmonary artery of donor lung with 10℃ HC-A solution. And preserving the donor in the solution. The ischemia time is about 2.5 hours. After cold storage, the excised right lung was transplanted into the other canine. Investigating the morphological change of the left lung tissue at the different time during the donor preservation in the solution. ã€Result】 The operations of the autotransplantation and the transplantation between two different canines are both successful. The canine with autotransplantation died of bleeding on the operation. The other canine died of double pulmonary edema 26 hours after operation. The morphological change proofs that the donor lung is preserved well in the solution. ã€Conclusion】  The study helps us to get the better understanding of the operation skills in the canine single lung transplantation. We master the methods of the preservation of the donor lung. It will help to prepare for the human lung transplantation. |
