Expressions Of Survivin, CyclinB1 And Ki67 In Cervical Carcinomas And Its Clinical Significances | | Posted on:2005-10-16 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:Y L Xu | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2144360125956234 | Subject:Obstetrics and gynecology | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Objective : The expressions of Survivin and ki67, cyclinBl in cervical carcinoma have been evaluated and then correlated to the clinical pathological character of patients, which study the relationship between significance of proliferation and apoptosis in cervical carcinoma and then explore the mechanism of cervical carcinoma. Methods : We examined the expression of Survivin using immunohistochemical methods of SABC and the expressions of and ki67 , cyclinBl using immunohistochemical methods of SP in fifty-six cervical carcinomas. Results (1) Expressions of Survivin, ki67 and cyclinBl gene were detected in a significantly greater proportion of cervical carcinoma (69.6%, 39/56; 82.1%,46/56; 76.8% , 43/56) than adjacent normal cervical tissues(16.7%,3/18;16.7%, 3/18; 16.7%,3/18) (P<0.01). (2)There was relationship between Survivin gene expression and age, clinical stage, lymph node metastases, but not related with histological subtype or the tumor grade. There was relationship between ki67 expression and clinical stage, but not related with age, histological subtype, lymph node metastases or the tumor grade. (3)The expression of Survivin gene correlated with ki67 and cyclinBl expressions. Conclusions: (1), Expression of Survivin gene were detected in a significantly greater proportion of cervical carcinoma than adjacent normal cervical tissues (P<0.01) and attached itself to proceeding of cervical carcinoma. Its expression correlated to patients' age, clinical stage , lymph node metastases and could play in the soakage and transplant of tumour cells; the targeting of Surviving as a novel molecular marker could play an important role clinically in metasis and micrometasis. (2)Expression of cyclinBl gene were detected in a significantly greater proportion of cervical carcinoma than adjacent normal cervical tissues (P<0.01) and attached itself to proceeding of cervical carcinoma. Its expression correlated to clinical stage. (3)the mark of Ki67 could reflected the cell proliferation rate in cervical carcinoma. (4)The expression of Survivn and cyclinBl may play an common role on the level of cell cycle. (5)There is a positive correlation betweenthe abnormal expressions of Survivin and ki67, cyclinBl and cervical carcinoma. The occurrence of cervical carcinoma may be related with the cell apoptosis and proliferation. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Gene, Survivin, gene, ki67, cyclinBl, Cervical neoplasm, Immunohistochemistry | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
