Clinic Study About The Treatment Of Fracture Of Tibial Plateau By Bone Setting, Shapeable Splint External Fixation And Calcanens Traction

Objective: The clinic effect of the treatment of fracture of tibial platean by bone setting, shapeable splint external fixation and calcaneus traction was evaluated and its mechanism was discussed.Method: According to strict projecting and evaluation of clinical test,60 cases were divided into two groups of 30 each randomly. The therapy g roup were treated by bone setting, shapleable splint external fixation and calcaneus traction and the control group were treated by operation. The multiple effects were evaluated by fractue restoration, long-term curative effect knee scores and hygienical economy.Results: 1.There was significant difference between the therapy group and the control group in fracture restoration (P<0.05); 2. The results of following up showed that there were no significant differences between thetherapy group and the control group in knee pain and knee stability in the sequel (P>0.05), but knee joint function and knee scores of the th erapy group in the sequel were better than that of the control group(P<0. 05);3.There was significant difference between the therapy group and the control group in hygienical economy assession (P<0.01).Conclusion: The therapeutic method of fracture of tibial platean by bone setting, shapeable splint external fixation and calcaneus traction was we 11. Its curative effect was definite, but its expenses was low relatirely. T he method was sinple and it was worth to be advocated using in clinic.
