| Objective To investigate Fos and Nos- 1 like protein expression in rat spine cord and Nucleus of tractus solitarius after neurolytic celiac plexus block by anhydrous alcohol. Method: experimental animal model was firstly established, with surgery performed and sample categorized , Spinal cord and Nucleus of tractus solitarius were obtained in different post-surgery time and immunehistolchemical stain of c-Fos and nos-1 was conducted according to standard method. Then, the expression of c-Fos and nos-1 of spinal cord and Nucleus of tractus solitarius could be well observed. Result: 0.3,1.2,4,6 hours after neurolytic celiac plexus block by anhydrous alcohol, both c-Fos and Nos were expressed in spinal cord and Nucleus of tractus solitarius. Conclusion: Positive expression of FOS and NOS in spinal cord and Nucleus of tractus solitarius shortly after neurolytic celiac plexus block by anhydrous alcohol indicated that FOS and NOS correlated with the transmission of organ information in the level of spinal cord, this trial has laid considerable fundamental basis for the treatment of obstinate pain in upper abdomen (pains mainly caused by late-stage tumor) which is clinically conducted by means of interventional approach (neurolytic celiac plexus block by anhydrous alcohol). This experiment was a short-term trial. Therefore, further investigation still remained to be launched to assess the long-term presentation of FOS and NOS in spinal cord and Nucleus of tractus solitarius after neurolytic celiac plexus block by anhydrous alcohol. |
