Background:Atrial fibrillation(AF) is the most common sustained cardiac arrhymia. It severely damaged the health of the affected patients by causing stroke, decreasing heart function and developing myocardial disease.Since 1998,it has been proved that AF was initiated by foci in the myocardial sleeves of the pulmonary veins. Many studies were done about the pulmonary veins.Although enhanced automaticity, triggered activity and re-entry are the common mechanisms which the foci of pulmonary veins intitated AF,many detailed mechanisms aren't dissolved.Method: 1,designing and manufacturing the mapping electrode of pulmonary veins;2, Electrophysiology study was done in 25 structurally normal dogs.LSPV is maped by pacing in the different places including LA,CS and distal of LSPV by S1S1 and S1S2. Last, 8 LSPV examples were examined in the histology.Results:1 ,The mapping electrode is very suitable for PV.It has some adventdages, including not-damaging the PV,easily placing, excellent conductive screen ablity.2,Conduction block and delayed happened when electrical impulses propagated from distal of PV to LA.3, In the course of...
