This research project focuses on Dr. Lee Chen-Yr, a contemporary Chinese medical physician in Taiwan. I mainly discuss his unique theories and clinical experience in order to prove that he indeed possesses the qualities and content to be a [famous and notable] Chinese medical physician. The present thesis is divided into five sections: section one is the introduction; the second section discusses the framework of his three major theories; the third and forth sections organizes for discussion his clinical experience of the following four disease areas: cancer, hepatic-gallbladder, paralysis and neural-cerebral. The fifth section is the conclusion followed by a bibliography, books authored by Dr. Lee, a brief biography of important events in his life and professional achievements as well as a list of his major herbal formulas. Rooted in a philosophy of 'tradition and innovation,' Dr. Lee not only penetrates to the heart of traditional Chinese medicine, but he also fully recognizes the needs of the times. Remarkable examples include his Yusheng Buyang Huanwu Tang, Yusheng Chailing Tang, Yusheng Wuling San (Nephritis Formula), and Yusheng Banxia-Tianma-Baizhu San. 2. Creating and developing new formulas such as the Osteomyelitis Formula, Paralysis Formulas #1, #2 and #3, Fulminant Hepatitis Formula, Yusheng Pill and his Regulating Menstrual Flow Formula. All of these herbal formulas exhibit excellent curative effect. With thirty years of experience treating seriously ill patients, Dr. Lee's thought is not merely a set of logical theories, they are supported by a wealth of research and authorship. Also, because he has many students who clinically apply and prove his thought; colleagues discuss and apply his thought as well as revise and expand his methods, it can be said that...
