The Preliminary Clinical Effect Report Of The Bone Graft And Tubular Screw Fixation-support Combined With Traditional Chinese Medicine Tongluoshenggu Capsule Treatment For Avascular Necrosis Of Femoral Head In Pericollapse Stage

Objective:1. To develop a new kind of treatment for the nontraumatic pericollapse stage avascular necrosis of the femoral head. 2. To evaluate the preliminary clinical effect of the treatment of bone graft and tubular screw fixation-support combined with traditional Chinese medicine Tongluoshenggu capsule for nontraumatic avascular necrosis of femoral head .Materials and method: 47 in-patients(75 hips) in pericollapse stage of nontraumatic ostenecrosis of femoral head were selected from department of third orthopaedics of the first affiliated hospital of Guangzhou university of TCM . The present series of in-patients was comprised of 36 male (60 hip) and 11 female (15 hip). They were accepted the treatment of bone graft and tubular screw fixation-support combined with traditional Chinese medicine (Tongluoshenggu capsule). The follow-up time ranged from 6 to 12 months(average, 9.5 months). Patient were evaluated preoperatively according to the Association Research Circulation Osseous (ARCO) international classification system while x-ray and MRI image evaluation and clinical ache effect evaluation was done respectively. And the clinical evaluation was done preperatively and postoperatively .The image effect evaluation was done according to the radiological image and MRI image preoperatively and at six monthes followup.
