| Objective To monitor antibiotic resistance of and plasmid profiles of Neisseria gonorrhoeae in Weihai City based on analysis of the results from 2000 to 2003.Methods Collected 82 strains of clinical Neisseria gonorrhoeae in Weihai area, rapid quantitative method of MIC was used for testing of 15 antimicrobial agents against 82 strain, controlled by kirby-Bauer method. 11 of these 100 strains were penicillinase producers (PPNG). Distilled plasmid with alkali splitting method, marked by A,DNA/HindIII to account the molecular weight of apiece plasmid.Results (1) a total of 82 clinical isolates of Neisseria gonorrhoeae were examined. Positive rate of PPNG were l3.14%,all the PPNG strains take 4.5Mu "Oriental type" plasmid. The antibiotic resistance rate of Neisseria gonorrhoeae to penicillin was 62.2%. (2) There were no difference between rapid quantitative method and paper diffusion method. The antibiotic resistance rate to TE, PG and E were 58.5%   52.4% 和 92.1%. Only 1.2% strains resist to spectinomycin (MIC≥64μg/ml), but 63.4% of all strains' MIC come to critical numerical value. (( MIC=32ug/ml); all strains have sensitive to ceftriaxone. The antibiotic resistance rate to ciprofloxacin were 74.4% (MIC ≥1μg/ml) . (3) The prevalence of TRNG( MIC ≥ 16μg/ml) were 2 strains , less susceptible to TE were 53 strains( MIC≥8μg/ml), the antibiotic resistance rate were 67.1% (4) 6 types of antimicrobial agents been used in susceptibilities testing by two methods, there were no notable difference between them: PG (x~2=0.136,p>0.05), E (x~2=0.184,p>0.05) , AN (x~2=0.9 l,p> 0.05) , TE (x~2=2.76,p>0.05), SPT (x~2=0.247,p>0.05) ,the antibiotic resistance rate of ceftriaxone were 0 (5) 74 of 82 strains of Neisseria gonorrhoeae take plasmid, the positive rate were 90.2%. There were 4 molar types of plasmids: 2.6, 4.5, 24.5 and 25.2Mu. The 2.6 Mu take rate were 65.83%, 59 strains take 4.5Mu, 53 strains of them resisted to PG (89.83%) . 12 strains of Neisseria gonorrhoeae which take 25.2Mu had hige resistance to TE. There were 7 types of plasmid profiles:4.5Mu, 2.6Mu, 4.5Mu+2.6Mu, 24.5Mu+4.5Mu, 24.5Mu+4.5Mu+2.6Mu, 25.2Mu+2.6Mu and no plasmid types. 4.5Mu+2.6Mu and 24.5Mu+4.5Mu+2.6Mu given priority to plasmid profiles, they were 24.32%和 14.86% sepatately.Conclusion (1)  The rapid quantitative method of MIC on Neisseria gonorrhoeae could... |
