| Objective To investigate the epidemiologic features of the infant rotavirus diarrhea in Qingdao and the relationship with breast feeding. To study the potential hazard of the bread feeding and the possible intervenient method in order to suggest a better breast-feeding schedule, especially for the roiavirus diarrhea infant.Methods Stool sample and human milk were collected from 396 diarrhea infants with breast feeding and their feeding mother, and only stool samples were collected from another 124 bottle-fed diarrhea infants. All the samples are allotted according to the infant's age; on-spot monoclonal immunoassay for type A rotavirus as screen test, and RT-PCR as the confirm test. All the results were analyzed with different statistical methods, and the correlation research was also performed between the stool rotavirus and the mother milk.Results The total rotavirus attack rate of infant in Qingdao is 31.2%,... |
