| 3D-radiation treatment planning system(3D-TPS) is a hot subject of cancer radiation therapy. 3D treatment planning and CT-simulation, belonging to multi-disciplinary subject, involved in computer graphics and image processing in biomedicine engineering, are widely used in cancer diagnoses, radiation therapy operation planning and simulation, etc.In this paper, some key technologies in 3D-TPS, with their algorithms and applications, are mainly studied. After discussing the methods of 3D surface reconstruction, this paper provides a easy way to solve the problem of contour furcation. To meet the requirements of CT-simulation, a fast variable step-size based algorithm for digitally reconstructed radiographs is presented. This paper also provides an ordinal dose calculating method, which is well ameliorated. The experiments demonstrate the techniques presented in this paper are more practical. In additional, an integrated 3D-TPS is developed. |
