| Background and aimAngiogenesis plays an important role in normal growth and development, it also plays an important role in many diseases genesis and development. Angiogenesis is intimate correlated with the tumour genesis and metastasis, many factors participate the angiogenesis and regulation. Vascular endothelial growth factor was regarded as the most strong and most specifity vasoactive endothelial cell, it enhance proliferation and the formation of neovascularity, and increase vascular permeability. Vascular endothelial growth factor has two receptor FLT-1 and FLK-1/KDR. Non-small cell lung carcimoma is an early metastasis, high malignant, poor prognosis carcinoma. The regulation of VEGF and its receptors was regarded as one of the most important factor of tumor genesis anddevelopment ,the aim of this study was to determined the expressions of VEGF and its receptor FLT-K FLK/KDR in non-small lung cancer, and investigate its relationship between the expression of vascular endothelial cell growth(VEGF), its receptor FLT-1, FLK-1/KDR and tumor angiogenesis, clinical stages, lymph node metastasis in NSCLC.MethodsImmunohistochemical staining and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) were used to detect the levels of VEGF and its receptor FLT-1, FLK-1/KDR in the tissue and serum of 112 patients with NSCLC, and analyse its clinical significance.ResultsThe expression of VEGF and its receptor FLT-1,FLK/KDR in tissue of NSCLC were significantly higher than that in normal mucosa tissue and cancer organizes besides tissue(p<0.05).The levels of VEGF and its receptor FLT-1, FLK/KDR were significantly increased with clinical stages( I, IK III-IV ) (p<0.05).The positive rates of VEGF and its receptor FLT-1, FLK-1/KDR in lymph node metastasis group were significantly higer than that in no lymph node metastasis group(p<0.05) . The expression of VEGF and its receptor FLT-1,FLK/KDR in serum of NSCLC were significantly higher than that in normal control group a(p<0.05).The levels of VEGF and its receptor FLT-1, FLK/KDR were significantly increased with clinical stages( I, II, III-IV ) (p<0.05).The positive rates of VEGF and its receptor FLT-1,FLK-1/KDR in lymph node metastasis group were significantly higer than that in no lymph node metastasis group(p<0.05).ConclusionsThe expression of VEGF and its receptor FLT-1, FLK/KDR in NSCLC were significantly increased, and positively correlated with its genesis, development and lymph node metastasis. |
