Clinical Study On Colon Hydropathy Treat Slow Transit Constipation

Objective:To observe the clinical application value of colon hydrotherapy in the treatment of slow transit constipation and its therapeutic mechanisms.Methods:According to the diagnosis standard,we select 23 slow trantit constipation cases and 29 outlet obstructive constipation cases.They were treated with colon hydrotherapy. The changes of primary clinical symptoms and signs in all cases were observed and given evaluation after treatment.Result: The curative effect of the slow transit constipation group were obviously better than that of the outlet obstructive constipation group(P<0.01) . Conclusions:Colon hydrotherapy is a kind of biofeedback.The mechanism is probably to eject the metabolite and toxin timely, alleviate its stimulus to intestine, alleviate the intestinal inflammation accordingly,speed the recovery of interstitial cells of Cajal(ICC) in submucosal border, myenteric plexus and circular muscle.On the other hand,the contain pressure of colon hydrotherapy stimulate the intestine rhythmly, reflexly causing electrical activity of ICC,recovering its automatic rhythm, reestablish biological defecation reflex,attain to the purpose of curing slow transit constipation .
