Exploring Management Model Of Urban Sanitation In Hangzhou City

This is a paper to make the study and theoretical analysis of urban sanitation management in new public management field. In order to identify a efficient management model of urban sanitation, the theory and practice of urban sanitation management were investigated on the basis of the analysis of public characteristic public welfare, exterior and natural monopoly. It was thought for the efficient management model that the market and social mechanisms should be used to deal with the problems so that government mechanism, market and social mechanisms will be combined and interacted.In the paper, the situation and problems of urban sanitation in Hangzhou were analyzed, it was suggested that the government mechanism, market and social mechanisms should be combined on the basis of rectangle model so as to make the co-operative management. The feasible counter-measures were discussed.
