The Clinical Obsrvation Of Treating Knee Joint Contracture And Stiffness After Trauma With Chinese Medicine Fuming-Washing And Manipulation

[Objective]: Observe the curative effect of treating knee joint contracture and stiffness after trauma with Chinese medicine fuming-washing- and manipulation.[Methods]: Randomly selected 83 patients of knee joint fiber contracture and stiffness after near knee fracture (49 men cases, 34 women cases whose average age is 34.5), which were divided into observing group and control group. The observing group (44 cases) adopted Chinese medicine fuming-washing with manipulation, control group(39 cases) adopted improving quadriceps femoris shaping operation with rehabilitation after operation , ensuring that the two groups was comparable at aspects of disease type and condition. Observed the two groups' change of quadriceps femoris myodynamia , knee joint average flexible degree, limping, swelling, and pain.[Results]: Followed up 83 cases for 6-12 months (average 6.8 month) ,in the observing group, excellent(9 cases), good(25 cases) normal (8cases), bad(2 cases) , the total efficiency reach 95.45% ; in the control group , excellent^ cases) , good(23 cases) , normal(10 cases) ,bad(one case), the total efficiency reach 97.43%. The two groups haven't remarkable difference (p>0.05) .[Conclusion]: Both Chinese medicine fuming-washing with manipulation and improving quadriceps femoris shaping operation with rehabilitation after operation can improve functional handicap of knee joint. The former future curative effect is superior to the group of improving quadriceps femoris shaping operation with rehabilitation after operation.
