| Objective: To evaluate the clinical effect of Anterior lumbosacral Reconstruction for the patients with lumbar and sacrum diseases.Method : By the ways of anterior reconstruction approach ,the clinical effect of anterior lumbosacral Reconstruction was studied and evaluated using for a series of lumbosacral diseases such as degeneration, fracture, tuberculosis, tumor and so on.Result: Of the 24 patients with unstable lumbosacrum treated with anterior lumbosacral Reconstruction, there were 18 cases who had a significant pain relief in their waist or tower extremity after one day of operation and had a satisfactory achievement of spine reduction and a good preservation of spinal function. All cases had no abscission of their bone graft, no loosening of internal fixation, and got bone-fusion in 6 months without any recrudescence. After treatment on 26patients with lumbosacral tuberculosis, there was only one case getting a worse paraplegia, one case coming with graft migration ,two patients having spine angular deformity ,and two patients getting a changed lumbosacral angle. The other cases had no abscission of their bone graft, no loosening of internal fixation, and got bone-fusion in 6 months without any recrudescence. In the treatment of 10 lumbosacrum-tumor cases ,8 patients with spinal cord or nerve dysfunction had a significant neurofunction improvement after the operation except 2 cases . 4 of them achieved complete recovery, and other 2 patients recover at different degpee. Conclusion: The anterior lumbosacral reconstruction surgery can help rebuilt the patients' spinal stability, preserve some spine function, and cure some of the lumbosacral diseases or relieve the symptoms. It is a significant treatment for the lumbosacral diseases. |
