| The biological feature recognition is a science that carries on the body's identification through the individual special physiology and the behavior features. At present, Some biological feature recognition technologies are very mature and have been using extensively, such as fingerprint recognition, and the research of some biological feature recognition technologies are also at the starting stage, such as the hand vein recognition, there are there difficulties of the hand vein recognition: Obtaining the fulfilling requirements hand vein images; The threshold segmentation of the hand vein images; The feature extraction and matching method of hand vein images. This paper proceeds from three difficulties of the hand vein recognition, analyze the theoretical foundation and the different characteristics between the hand vein recognition and the other biological feature recognition, research the frame of the hand vein recognition.In the hand vein image processing , preprocess the hand vein images firstly, several dynamic threshold segmentation methods is used to segment hand vein images and the dynamic segmentation results is compared, a kind of new dynamic threshold segmentation is proposed which is suitable for the vein images -The Method of Threshold Image, and improve the conditional thinning method to thin the hand vein images. In feature extraction and feature matching, research the basic scheme about hand vein image feature extraction, this paper propose the method of extracting the end points and the crossing points, analyze and solve the problems meeting in the feature extraction, compare the twokinds of matching algorithms which are the method of Tsing-Hua University based on horizontal moving of points and the method based on calculating distance, good results have been drawn, some ideas about the vein recognition are proposed finally. |
