Purposes (l)Cruciate Ligament injury can be seen frequently in the range of sportsmedicine, of which, the injury rate of the Anterior crudiate ligament (ACL)is the highest, the therapeutic effect of Anterior crudiate ligament reconstruction with bone-knee tendon-bone autografting was appreciated, this method can recover the knee joint stability in a good majority of cases, but it has some complications. This method was discuss the method and effect of ACL reconstruction with four biceps femoris tendon and Biodegradable screw (2) To evaluation the measure of knee unwind position X-ray in the diagnosis of the ACL injury.Materials and methods: (1) From the April of 2002 to the January of 2004, on thebases of ACL reconstruction with bone- knee tendon -bone model, ACL was replaced with four biceps femoris tendon, which was fixed with SR-PLA poly-lactide Biodegradable interface screw, 42 cases were treated with ACL reconstruction. (2)39 cases were screened with knee joint AP & LAT X-ray when enrolled.Results: (1) 42 cases have been followed up for average 11.4 (3-22)months, the knee join movement degrees were all normal. After operation, the lachman test: 37cases =1 + , 4cases 2+ , 1case 3 + . Knee axis movement test: 42cases were all negative, after operation, the Lysholm score was improved significantly than before(p < 0.05), the Tegner score was improved significantly also(p < 0.05). 1 year after operation, the screws in 29 cases were absorbed partially in MRI scan. (2)The result of the diagnosis of ACL injury by using X-ray: ?The rate of peak - plateau intersect was 22.17±3.86% in the normal, while the rate was 31.33±5.34% in the abnormal, there are significant difference(p < 0.01). (2) The angle of peak-plateau was 56.06 ±4.23 in the normal, 60.10 ±4.81 in the abnormal, there are significant difference . (3) The Femur-plateau intersect angle was 97.92°±3.58°in the normal, 98.18°±3.44°in the abnormal, there are no significant difference(p>0.5).Conclusions:1. Four biceps femoris tendon is a dependable material for ACL reconstruction besides bone-knee tendon-bone under Arthroscopy , this method overcome the complications of bone-knee tendon-bone. Biodegradable interface screw can prevent reoperation and the material left behind.2. Knee joint AP & LAT X-ray have good evaluation in the diagnosis of ACL injury.
