Animal experiment partAIM: Estimate the stability of homemade micro titanic screw which wereloaded immediately, through measure the movement of screw after loaded,shear bone strength between implant and screw.METHODS: 2 homemade titanic screw were inserted into each femur of fourdogs.Force of 200g were laoded between the 2 screw for 3 months, measurethe movement of screw after loaded, shear bone strength between implantand screw.RESULT: 1.the change of distance between 2 screws were 0.47mm,whilenearly 0mm in group which no load.2. shear bone strength between implant and screw were 367.42N CONCLUSION: 1. after loaded force of 200g,there will be little position change between 2 screw.2.the homemade titanic screw can withstand orthodontic force as an orthodontic anchorage.Clinical application partAIM: To evaluate the efficiency of the homemade titanic screw for maximum anchorage cases.METHODS: 15 patients were chosen who presented with class II pattern,maximum molar anchorage and first premolar extraction wererequired. In the stage of canine tooth distalization, homemade screws were inserted into each buccal alveolar bone between maxillary second premolar and first molar. Distalize canine tooth with 150g force every four weeks. Recordings of the canine position at the start and the end of the distalization were made from dental cast, panoramic radiograph and periapical radiography.RESULT: 1.There were no significant differences in the speed of distalizing canine tooth.2.During distalization of canine tooth, distance of molar and line PR with implant anchorage is less than that with classical molar anchorage. CONCLUSION: 1.There were no differences in the efficiency between implant anchorage and classical molar anchorage.2.Compare with classical molar anchorage,implant anchorage nearly can attain the ability of absolute anchorage. |
