The Research Of Look-up Table Algorithm In DSA System

The digital subtraction angiography (DSA) systems, which are almost import goods and very expensive, have been rarely applied to Chinese hospitals, and only a few first-class hospitals use it. So we researched and developed a kind of digital subtraction angiography system based on look-up table (LUT) algorithms, which can update conventional X-rays machine to the image subtraction function as to increase the amounts of digital subtraction angiography system and accelerate the development of intervening diagnose and treatment in Chinese hospitals.Look-up table algorithms have been widely used in digital signal processing, but the articles on LUT algorithms applied to digital subtraction angiography system were rarely reported. In this article, the effect of different LUT algorithms on digital subtraction angiography images is introduced. The result is that different LUT algorithms can result in different effects of subtraction image. With analysis and compare, we concluded that improved images of DSA are possible to be acquired by some suitable LUT algorithms.
