Indoor thermal environment not only influences the health of the occupants mainly, but also influences the energy consumption of the HVAC system. So how to make a comfort and healthy environment at a low energy price has being studied widely. The paper studies the impact of indoor thermal environment on human body from the aspect of blood mechanics characteristic which has close relationship with human body health by animal experiment. The results could offer a foundation for further study of the indoor thermal environment and an evidence for an evaluation method of it from the aspect of blood mechanics characteristic. The paper first expatiates on the physiology and psychology elements of the impact of thermal environment on human body as well as the function of blood mechanics characteristic in diagnosing physiological state of human body. Bring forward the theoretic basis of studying indoor thermal environment from the aspect of blood mechanics characteristic. Then describe the corresponding animal experiments. In order to control the indoor thermal environment exactly, designed a ventilation installation under the direction of the fluid simulation software called fluent. The installation can simulate the air flow pattern in the conventional air-conditioning room. The actual measurement of the velocities in the installation shows that the ventilation installation can satisfy the velocity requirement of the standard of our country's comfort air-conditioning room.Design an orthorhombic experiment scheme to study the correlation between indoor thermal environment and blood mechanics characteristic to get a qualitative conclusion.According to the scheme, feed the guinea pigs in the ventilation installation and then sampled blood from the hearts of them for detecting. Do analysis of variance on the experiment data. The results show that the change of temperature, relative humidity and ventilation pattern have certain impact on the indexes of blood mechanics characteristic; especially on the main indexes such as whole blood viscosity at different shear rates,RBC aggregation, hematocrit, fibrinogen and erythrocyte electrophoresis time. The impact of temperature and ventilation pattern had more significant impact than relative humidity.Adopt more points of temperature which has significant impact on the blood mechanics characteristic with maintaining the relative humidity and ventilation pattern...
