Objective: As an independent means through the whole schooling year, the process of education evaluation has been paid more and more attention to. It can supply a successful or defeatist experience for administrators to evaluate programs and various parts of medical education. It is also au important basis for establishing educational plan and improving teaching scheme. The introduction of modern idea and method of evaluation in advanced countries to China is quite late. So it is necessary to explore an analytical method which is suitable to medical education situation in out country. The article analysis and evaluation on degree achievement of master degree candidates in a military medical university in order to solve this problem.Methods: This research used the data on the basic situation of 1149 master degree candidates during 2000~2004 and the date on their degree schooling achievement. We adopted simple and multiple element analysis to study effective factors and correlation analysis to show the relationship of entrance examination score and schooling achievement. Composite index method, rank sum ratio method and fuzzy composite evaluationmethod were utilized evaluate the degree schooling achievement of 5 years.Results: 1. 80% of schooling score were normal distribution. It showed examination management of the university was effective and steady. 2. The achievement of student was influenced by several factors. Such as whether of not they graduated in the exact year and which hospital of institute or worked in before entrance. 3. Within three composite evaluation methods, the result of RSR is similar to fuzzy composite evaluation.Conclusion:I.English and general knowledge scores of entrance examination cam forecast degree schooling achievement in university, at the same time English had relationship with the other schooling curriculums. 2. RSR method is doing well in practical utilization, and fuzzy composite evaluation has more advantages in the studies of educational evaluation.
