Chronic gastritis and peptic ulcer are very common diseaseoccurred in our country, thus greatly threating our people's health. Ifit is gradual, Gastritis and peptic ulcer may develop gastric cancer. Now, we have been learnt that Helicobacter pylori (HP) is the maincause of chronic gastritis and peptic ulcer. If HP existed in chronicand persistent, It has been confired that HP infections closely relatedwith ulcer cancer and MALT. lymphomas. HP has been arranged in the First type bacter of causing cancer. The treatment of anti-HP become the most measure to cure andprevent HP. infections. HP. infections happened in childhoodespically in the early since born from adult's epidemiology. Childrenat rish of HP infecton. In order to explore the state of active HP infection and anlysethe relationship between HP infection and gastric disease. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) technique was use to measureHP-IgG anti-body in 2584 children, 725 cases were found to bepositive, the positive rate of HP-IgG anti-body was 28.06% in Changchun. The results suggest that HP infections closely associate withages, increasing prevalently by 3%. At 14 years old, the positive rateof HP-IgG anti-body was 47.64%, on the verge of adults. Thepositive of HP-CagA anti-body was 89.10%, and there was nodifference between age and sex. To analyse the HP infection rate in492 cases with stomache. The positive rate(34.76%) of HP-IgGanti-body was significantly higher than that of the control group(26.48%). p<0.05. The positive rate of HP-CagA anti-body was notdifferent between stomache patients and no-stomache patients. 262samples children aged 8-14 years in stomache were observed withgastrocopy. The positive rate of HP-IgG anti-body in chronicsuperficial gastritis, chronic atrophic gastritis, acute erosive gastritis, gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer and control group were 46.67%,67.86%,44.00%,81.82%,100% respetively. That results suggestthat HP infections closely associate with chronic gastrit ics andpeptic ulcer. To investigate the situation of HP infection in 56 family. Theresult show that in control group, the positive rate of father, mother, and mixed infections were 28%, 36%, 12% respectively. In positivegroup, they were 71%, 87% and 65% respectively. The positive rateof HP infection was significantly than coutrol group. HP infectionfinds its way in by the mouth.
