| Objective: To study the expression of survivin mRNA, cyclinDl proteins in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and cervical carcinoma, to investigate it's relationship. Methods: In 20 normal cervical tissue and 20 cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) and 54 squamous cell carcinoma of cervix uteri (SCC),in situ hybridization was applied to detect survivin mRNA and we examined the protein express of cyclinDl using immunohistochemical method (straptavidin biotin peroxidase technique SP). Result: (1) In normal cervical tissue ,there were hardly find the express of survivin mRNA, cyclinD1 proteins. Survivin mRNA, cyclinD1 proteins expression in CIN , SCC was significantly higher compared with normal cervical tissue (P<0.05).No statistically significant difference were found between in CIN and SCC (P>0.05). (2) In SCC, the express of survivin mRNA, cyclinD1 proteins was significantly higher with clinical stage.(P<0.05). ( 3 ) In early stage cervical carcinoma , the express of survivin mRNA were associated with pelvic lymph node metastasis and cervical carcinoma invasive lenth (P<0.05).(4)In SCC, the express of survivin mRNA positively correlated with the expression of cyclinD1 proteins(r=0.583,P<0.05).ConcIusion: (1) The high expression of survivin and cyclinD1 in cervical tissue involves in the occurrence and development of cervical carcinoma. (2) The express of survivin mRNA, cyclinD1 proteins was significantly higher with clinical stage. |
